Monorail with drag chain


  • Parts to be shot-blasted are hanged on the hook connected to an overhead monorail conveyor with hoists supported by the structure. The hoists installed on the overhead conveyor allow the lifting of heavy loads.
  • The hook is transferred manually/automatically into the blasting chamber by means of drag chain and once in position, hook starts rotating on its axis and the combined forward and backward motion ensures the complete shot-blasting of parts.
  • Turbines are mounted on other side of the machine.
  • The loading capacity of the machine depends on the customer in accordance with the parts to be shot-blasted.
  • The setup installation may require a pit depending on the height of the machine and supplied with a dust collector system.

Monorail with continuous conveyor


  • Parts to be shot-blasted are hanged on several hooks connected to an oval/ring track overhead monorail conveyor with hoists supported by the structure.
  • The hooks once inside the blasting room and in position hook starts rotating on its axis and the combined forward and backward motion ensures the complete shot-blasting of parts.
  • Turbines are mounted on other side of the machine.
  • The loading capacity of the machine depends on the customer in accordance with the parts to be shot-blasted.
  • Five/Six hand running trolleys.
  • Hook travelling-rotating mechanism consisting of two chains each driven by geared motor units.
  • The setup installation may require a pit depending on the height of the machine and supplied with a dust collector system.

Typical Purpose:

Surface treatment of parts produced by casting, die-casting, forging, drop-forging and heat treated parts.

Accessories

Frequency inverter for turbines, overhead conveyor with continuous movement (monorail), magnetic separator (for de-sanding operation), digital control panel, dust collector system.

Monorail 'Y' Type


  • Parts to be shot-blasted are hanged on the hook connected to a Y shaped overhead monorail conveyor with hoist supported by the structure.
  • The hook is transferred manually inside the blasting room and hook once in position, starts rotating on its axis and the combined forward and backward motion ensures the complete shot-blasting of parts.
  • Turbines are mounted on other side of the machine.
  • The loading capacity of the machine depends on the customer in accordance with the parts to be shot-blasted.
  • Two trolleys with hook sprocket wheel assembly.
  • The setup installation doesn't require a pit and supplied with a dust collector system.

Typical Purpose:

Depending on the size and loading capacity by the customer, any kind of material parts can be shot blasted.

Accessories:

Frequency inverter for turbines, Y shaped overhead conveyor, magnetic separator (for de-sanding operation), digital control panel, dust collector system.

GG-BC Type


  • Tumble shot-blast machines with rubber belt conveyor are used for the surface treatment of parts in batches, loaded manually or automatically by means of a hydraulic/pneumatic loader.
  • Belt conveyor is made of wear-proof rubber. The whole surfaces of the parts are exposed to the shots thrown by the turbines due to the rotation of the conveyor.
  • Parts are offloaded by the rotation of the belt conveyor in the opposite way and can fall directly into an empty container or through an offloading belt or vibrating conveyor.
  • The loading capacity may vary from 150 to 1000 Kilos in weight.
  • The setup installation does not require a pit and is supplied with a dust collector system.

Typical Purpose:

Surface treatment of steel and brass drop-forged parts, aluminium castings, small and medium sized metal parts, de-burring of plastic parts.

Accessories:

Automatic loading system, offloading belt or vibrating conveyor, magnetic separator (for de-sanding operation), frequency inverter for turbines and conveyor belt, digital control panel, dust collector system. In addition, we also design special systems to include the shot-blasting machine in automatic production lines.

GG-SC Type


  • Tumble shot-blast machines with steel conveyor are used for the surface treatment of parts in batches, loaded manually or automatically by means of a hydraulic/pneumatic loader.
  • Steel conveyor is made of wear-proof steel. The whole surfaces of the parts are exposed to the shots thrown by the turbines due to the rotation of the conveyor.
  • Parts are offloaded by the rotation of the steel conveyor in the opposite way and can fall directly into an empty container or through an offloading belt or vibrating conveyor.
  • The loading capacity may vary from 500 to 3000 Kilos in weight.
  • The setup installation does not require a pit and is supplied with a dust collector system.

Typical Purpose:

Surface treatment of steel, cast iron, brass, bronze parts and parts produced by casting, forging, drop-forging and heat treated parts and also heavy parts up to 200 kilos in weight.

Accessories:

Automatic loading system, offloading belt or vibrating conveyor, magnetic separator (for de-sanding operation), frequency inverter for turbines and conveyor belt, digital control panel, dust collector system. In addition, we also design special systems to include the shot-blasting machine in automatic production lines.

Online Shot blasting Machine


  • Continuous shot-blasting unit with a special wear-proof steel wire mesh conveyor.
  • The layout consists of a tunnel having the blasting room in the middle section.
  • Turbines are mounted above the conveyor and are orientated in a way to ensure the perfect covering of the most complex parts.
  • Final section of the tunnel is provided with a blowing system to remove the shots possibly remaining on the parts.
  • The setup installation does not require a pit and is supplied with a dust collector system.

Typical Purpose:

Surface treatment of steel and brass parts, aluminium castings, de-burring of steel plates and plastic parts.

Accessories:

Frequency inverter for turbines and conveyor belt, digital control panel, additional conveyors for materials handling, dust collector system

Manual Shot blasting Room


  • Manual shot-blasting room is provided to carry out manual blowing operations, to remove the shots possibly remaining on the parts.
  • According to the size requested by the customer, rooms are designed and fabricated which may consist of one or two main doors for material access.
  • Two small safety doors complete with special pushing lock and inspection porthole, on each side of the room.
  • Structure may either consist of steel walls or self-bearing panels with polyurethane insulation. The internal walls are lined with wear-proof rubber.
  • Floor is made of steel grating for the automatic recovery of abrasive with a maximum load capacity of 630 Kg/m2.
  • Material handling can be done by trolleys or by overhead crane.
  • Transparent rubber curtains on the main exit with doors.
  • Room includes lightning system with sufficient number of lamps to guarantee the lighting efficiency and lamps are protected from the shots by special hardened easily replaceable glass screen.
  • Transversal screw conveyor to transfer the shots from the main longitudinal screw conveyors of the machine.
  • In case of an already existing room at the Customer Site, BMD can supply the design and the equipment to carryout the shot-blasting operation.
